The International IVF Process: From Consultation to Returning Home
- Virtual Consultation
Meet with one of our leading physicians via Zoom, Skype, or WeChat. Translation services are available, and our medical team speaks over 13 languages. - Pre-Cycle Testing
Your physician will order necessary lab work that you can complete locally, reducing your trips to Los Angeles. The results will help determine your medication plan. - Ovarian Stimulation Cycle
This stage typically lasts 10-14 days. You’ll begin medications locally and plan to be in Los Angeles for about 5-7 days for ultrasounds and egg retrieval. You can return home just 24 hours after the procedure. If you’re not using donor sperm, your partner will need to accompany you to provide fresh samples. - Embryo Fertilization
Our clinical team will keep you updated on the embryo culture process. After egg retrieval, we’ll provide a fertilization report. The embryos are cultured for 5-7 days, biopsied, and sent for PGT-A testing which takes 1-2 weeks. - Embryo Transfer
You’ll begin local medications for the embryo transfer, usually scheduled between days 19 and 21 of your cycle. After a pregnancy blood test about 10 days post-transfer, you can return home the following day. Local ultrasounds and follow-ups with your OBGYN can be arranged.
