Let me introduce you to one of our amazing midwives, Lisa Green. Lisa is truly passionate about the birthing experience, and her trauma-informed approach ensures that every birthing person feels safe, seen, and supported. With over two decades in the field and having welcomed more than 1,200 babies in diverse settings—from bustling hospitals to cozy birth centers—she brings a wealth of experience to our clinic. Lisa previously ran a successful home birth practice in the Bay Area, and now she’s here at Millie, eager to combine all her knowledge and skills.
Lisa is also actively involved in initiatives aimed at enhancing access to high-quality midwifery care, especially for communities affected by health disparities. In her downtime, she loves hiking, gardening, and whipping up delicious meals with her family. Oh, and did I mention that she holds a Master’s degree in Nursing and Midwifery from Yale?
