Meet Dr. Lily Thompson, the latest addition to the team at our Towson clinic! Starting mid-November, Dr. Thompson will be providing compassionate care to patients seeking assistance with fertility issues. A proud Maryland native, she’s thrilled to return home after completing her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at a prestigious New York institution, followed by a specialized fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

Dr. Thompson’s path to medicine began at an early age; she was inspired by her grandmother, who broke barriers as the first female OB/GYN in her community. This legacy of strength and dedication to women’s health ignited Dr. Thompson’s passion for helping others, leading her to become board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and board eligible in reproductive endocrinology.

Expertise in Fertility Care

As a new member of our Towson team, Dr. Thompson offers extensive knowledge in diagnosing and treating infertility, including conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), male-factor infertility, and endometriosis. She has even contributed to various peer-reviewed studies on topics such as in vitro fertilization (IVF) and preimplantation genetic testing (PGT).
