After our wedding plans were pushed back because of COVID-19, we thought it was the perfect time to start our home insemination journey (especially since my age isn’t on my side). As luck would have it, we received a positive pregnancy test after our very first attempt! And all of this happened despite the challenges: the pandemic, my recent job loss due to layoffs, and being without insurance – you name it!
We quickly shifted gears, applied for a marriage license, and reached out to a few close friends. On September 27, 2020, we exchanged vows in front of four masked and socially distanced loved ones. It wasn’t the wedding we envisioned, but it turned out to be the most magical day imaginable. Our little one, Baby Taylor, is due on February 27, 2021, and we couldn’t be more grateful!
