In early 2021, my partner Jamie and I took the exciting step to start our family. We decided that I would be the first to carry our child. With the help of a known donor and our at-home insemination kit, I was thrilled to find out I was pregnant after just two tries! Our baby boy arrived in November 2021, and he’s simply amazing.
After he was born, we felt ready to expand our family. Our donor happened to be visiting for the holidays, and her ovulation timing was perfect, so we decided to give it another shot. Using the same kit, we were overjoyed to discover that I conceived again on the very first attempt! Our baby girl is expected to arrive in September, making our kiddos just nine and a half months apart. It might get a bit chaotic, but we couldn’t be happier!
