This past weekend, countless participants gathered for the 2nd Annual Walk of Hope in Washington, D.C., organized by a wonderful collaboration between a local fertility clinic and RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association. Together, they raised over $70,000 to support essential programs and services aimed at raising awareness about infertility.

Jessica Miller, the new president of RESOLVE, expressed her excitement about the event, highlighting how the National Harbor’s Waterfront provided a stunning backdrop for the day. “The Walk of Hope is more than just a fundraising event; it symbolizes the journey of those facing infertility. We believe that no one should walk this path alone,” she shared.

As a proud Visionary Partner, the local fertility clinic also participated with a team of dedicated staff and patients, collectively raising an impressive $2,650, making them the top fundraising team of the day. One standout team member, Sarah Johnson, contributed significantly as one of the top individual fundraisers with her total of $875.

“One of my favorite moments was seeing families and friends together—many wearing amusing or motivational t-shirts that showcased their infertility journeys,” Jessica noted. “Having been part of this community for years, I’m proud to see how RESOLVE empowers individuals to gather with their loved ones to raise awareness.”

The mission behind this event is straightforward: to give a voice to the 1 in 8 couples experiencing infertility and to bring this issue to light. RESOLVE works tirelessly to provide support and connection for those affected by infertility, empowering them to advocate for their rights and access to family-building options. Raising awareness about infertility is crucial to ensuring that those facing it are recognized and supported by healthcare providers, lawmakers, and society at large.
