Pressure’s Off, and Baby “Z” Is Here!

Hey friends! Let me share a heartfelt journey about how we welcomed our little one, baby “Z,” into the world. After getting married in 2011, I faced some serious challenges with vaginismus, which made intimacy a painful experience. This led to anxiety and ultimately caused a rift in our marriage, leading to a separation in 2017. After a year of counseling, we moved back in together, and to our joy, we finally enjoyed pain-free intimacy. But when we decided to start a family, the pressure returned, fueled by my fears and past experiences.

Thankfully, our new doctor, who specializes in pelvic pain, suggested a more relaxed approach: using a syringe during my fertile window and reserving traditional intercourse for other times. This helped ease the pressure significantly. For six months, we followed this plan, syringing during days 12-26 of my cycle. While we tried smaller syringes recommended by others, we found the Home Insemination Kit to be super user-friendly! Plus, the resources and videos they offer made the process feel so normal.

One Saturday, I realized I hadn’t taken a pregnancy test yet. To my shock and joy, two lines appeared on the test! A follow-up blood test confirmed it—we were pregnant! Now, we’re six weeks along with our beautiful baby “Z,” and we couldn’t be happier.

Fast forward to the big day! Baby “Z” arrived on November 22, and we are over the moon! ❤️
