Why Choose Bupa’s Fertility Programme?
Here’s what you can expect:
- Expert Guidance: Bupa collaborates with top fertility clinics to deliver personalized treatment that suits your specific needs.
- Comprehensive Offerings: They provide everything from initial consultations and diagnostic assessments to advanced procedures like IVF, IUI, and ICSI.
How to Get Started with the Bupa Fertility Programme
If you believe you’re eligible for the Bupa Fertility Programme, here’s how to get started:
- Contact Bupa: As a member, you need to get in touch with them for a pre-authorisation code, which is valid for 31 days. If you don’t start treatment within this period, just request a new code.
- Fertility Assessment: Once we have your code, we’ll set up a fertility assessment for you and your partner, if needed. This will include evaluations like an ovarian assessment for women and semen analysis for men.
- Initial Consultation: After the assessment, one of our fertility specialists will review your results and suggest treatments or lifestyle changes to enhance your chances of conception. You’ll work together to create a personalized treatment plan.
- Treatment Process: After deciding on a plan, you’ll kick off your treatment journey. This will include a nurse planning appointment where we’ll guide you on how to take your medications.
- Ongoing Support: If you have any questions or concerns, our Patient Support team is always here for you. Plus, you can track your appointments through our Patient Portal.
What to Expect on Your Fertility Journey
When you begin your fertility journey with Bupa, expect a range of services: diagnostic tests to assess your fertility health, specialist consultations to navigate your options, and a personalized treatment plan tailored to your path to parenthood. Just keep in mind that surrogacy and reversal of voluntary sterilization aren’t covered, and additional treatments beyond initial diagnostics may require extra coverage.
If you’re contemplating when to see a fertility specialist, getting started with treatment, or how to finance it, we’re ready to help! For advice on your options and to schedule your first consultation, just reach out to our patient support team.
