Overcoming Vaginismus: A Journey to Hope and New Beginnings

Latest Updates and Announcements from Mosie BabyGet Pregnant Fast

I recently received my kit and can’t express how hopeful I feel. After struggling for 12 long years with vaginismus, I often thought I was the only one dealing with this embarrassing condition. It took a lot of time for me to figure out what I was experiencing was indeed vaginismus, and discussing it with anyone was nearly impossible. It felt like a lonely secret for far too long. Finally, I found the courage to speak with a doctor who suggested I try some vaginal dilators. The thought was intimidating, but thankfully, my partner has been incredibly supportive and shares my dream of starting a family.

Through my research, I discovered that vaginismus is a common issue, especially in traditional or religious communities where conversations about sex can be taboo. I didn’t have a close relationship with my mother to navigate this with, nor do I recall any enlightening sex education in school.

Initially, I attempted to use a standard syringe, but it was quite uncomfortable and just didn’t work for me. I wondered if there could be a syringe that resembled my dilators in size. That’s when I stumbled upon this new option! The dimensions were perfect—between sizes 1 and 2 of my dilators, which filled me with hope. After practicing with the dilators for a few months, I felt ready to give this new tool a shot!

When I compared the syringe to my dilators, I found it matched the first size perfectly! Using it after practicing with the second size was actually easy. I want others in similar situations to know that there’s hope, and a pathway to progress exists.

A vital question my therapist posed was: “Do you want to fix your intimacy issues or have a baby first?” This is crucial for anyone dealing with vaginismus—prioritize what you want most! If the goal is to have children, then continuing on this journey with the new kit while using dilators is a great start.

It’s comforting to know there are products available to help us through this. I’m hoping and praying that this works for me, and I look forward to sharing good news in the near future.

Thank you for letting me share my journey!
