Hey friends! We wanted to share our journey of trying to conceive, which began way back in 2015 and wrapped up beautifully in 2020.

We’re a same-sex couple, and our path to parenthood has been anything but straightforward. After a few hopeful months of trying in 2015, we hit a rough patch and decided to take a break for about four years. Fast forward to August 2019, we dove back into the journey, trying every month, but still no luck.

Then, in October, we discovered an at-home insemination kit and decided to give it a shot. To our absolute amazement, it worked on the very first try! We honestly didn’t expect it to happen so quickly, especially since we faced unique challenges compared to heterosexual couples when it came to timing. This kit really made a difference for us, and we are beyond grateful. We still can’t believe we’re going to be parents!

We recently welcomed our adorable baby “A,” and she has already brought so much joy into our lives. Thank you for allowing us to share our story; we hope it inspires others in our community.

In summary, we began our journey in 2015, faced ups and downs, but with patience and the right support, we finally achieved our dream of parenthood.
