As a board-certified specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology, Dr. Thompson focuses on in-vitro fertilization (IVF), recurrent pregnancy loss, LGBTQ+ family planning, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), egg donation and freezing, advanced reproductive technologies for older mothers, Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT), surrogacy, and primary ovarian insufficiency.
Education and Experience
Dr. Thompson earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. She completed her medical degree and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Loma Linda University, where she received several honors, including the Humanitarian Award and the Women in Medicine Award. After a stint as a Board-Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist, she pursued a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).
After her Fellowship, Dr. Thompson spent seven years at the Huntington Reproductive Center in Pasadena before joining PFCLA in 2011.
