Meet Emily Carter, DNP, FNP-BC | Family Nurse Practitioner at UCSF-CRH

Hey there! I want to introduce you to Emily Carter, an amazing Family Nurse Practitioner at UCSF-CRH. Emily is not just board certified; she specializes in reproductive endocrinology and has a real passion for patient education. She believes in the significance of fertility treatment and family planning. It’s clear she loves being part of her patients’ fertility journeys, guiding them every step of the way.

Originally from San Francisco, Emily completed her undergrad at UC San Diego, where her interest in reproductive health really took off during her internship at Planned Parenthood. She went on to earn both her Master’s and Doctorate in nursing with a focus on Women’s Health at Columbia University.

Emily kicked off her career in the fertility field as a registered nurse at the surgery center of CCRM New York’s fertility clinic. After getting her nurse practitioner license, she made her way back to San Francisco in 2019, starting her NP journey at Laurel Fertility Care with a focus on Third Party Reproduction. In 2021, she joined the UCSF Center for Reproductive Health team.
