Before joining us, Dr. Carter served as the Medical Director at a renowned reproductive clinic. She earned her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and went on to obtain her medical degree from the University of Michigan. Her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology was completed at the University of Virginia, followed by a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Carter is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and REI.

What do you enjoy outside of work?

“I love spending time outdoors with my kids, whether it’s playing sports or enjoying a campfire. I’ve also developed a love for kayaking in Virginia’s beautiful waterways.”

What’s something surprising about you?

“I have a green thumb for hydrangeas and enjoy sharing them with friends. Oh, and I can clam with my toes, though I have a food allergy that keeps me from eating them!”
