At his Stony Point office, he offers cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment options, ranging from fertility preservation to family building for LGBTQ individuals.
Dr. Thompson earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, where he graduated with honors and was a proud member of Phi Beta Kappa. He then completed his medical education at the University of Chicago, joining the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. His residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology took place at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he won the Resident’s Teaching Prize multiple times. He further honed his skills during a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the renowned Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine, the first in the U.S. to offer IVF. Dr. Thompson is board certified in both Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, as well as Obstetrics and Gynecology.
With a strong background in the medical and surgical aspects of reproductive health, Dr. Thompson has authored numerous papers and has been a speaker at various conferences, sharing knowledge on infertility and reproductive endocrinology.
Before joining our team, Dr. Thompson was a founding partner and served as Medical Director at a leading fertility clinic in Virginia. He is committed to providing patients with compassionate and respectful fertility care.
