In a heartfelt journey, “C” and “L” faced several challenges while trying to conceive. After seven months of home attempts, they discovered that IVF was their only route for gestational carrying. With determination, they switched gears and uteri, expressing gratitude for their supportive and easygoing known donor. In September 2020, they used the at-home insemination kit for the first time, inseminating twice during L’s fertile week without stressing about cycle tracking. Just two and a half weeks later, they were overjoyed to see that BFP (big fat positive)! They are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their baby girl in late June 2021.
