Hey friends! We’re excited to announce a free Mind-Body Fertility Workshop happening on Saturday, November 22, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. This gathering is open to anyone—whether you’re single, partnered, gay, or straight—who might be feeling the weight of stress or isolation while trying to conceive.
Leading the workshop are compassionate experts: therapist Sophie Morgan, who specializes in fertility counseling, and certified yoga instructor Rick Bennett, who also has a background in genetics. This will be our last workshop of the year, so don’t miss out! Our next meeting will be on December 13, same time.
It’s important to note that while the American Society for Reproductive Medicine hasn’t definitively proven how stress affects fertility, it’s clear that stress can impact our bodies in numerous ways. Sophie emphasizes that reducing stress can enhance well-being and make navigating infertility treatments a little easier.
The workshop aims to foster a supportive environment where you can openly discuss your feelings around infertility. Sophie, who’s been with us for over ten years, points out that many participants find it comforting to simply be in a room with others who understand their struggles. If you’d like, there’s also a chance to connect with fellow participants afterward.
Couples particularly benefit from these sessions, as each person often copes with infertility differently. It’s a great opportunity to bond and feel validated in your partner role. Throughout the workshop, you’ll explore various relaxation techniques, including deep breathing, exercise, and even healthy eating tips. Plus, there will be an hour of gentle yoga—suitable for all, at any stage of the cycle. This practice is not only relaxing but may also boost blood flow to reproductive organs.
We’ll also touch on the benefits of acupuncture, which can be a fantastic complement to fertility treatments. Our acupuncture expert, Mia Chen, is on hand to tailor treatments to individual needs, focusing on enhancing overall fertility health. Acupuncture can help with various issues, such as ovulation and fertility blockages, making it a valuable addition to your wellness routine.

In summary, our Mind-Body Fertility Workshop is not just a gathering—it’s a supportive space where you can share, learn, and connect with others on similar journeys. Join us to explore relaxation techniques and yoga while gaining valuable insights into fertility challenges. We hope to see you there!
