After exploring various options like sperm banks, IUI, and ICI, they discovered their known donor and everything they needed for at-home insemination!
Hey there! I’m “Jamie,” and my partner, “Alex,” and I tied the knot in August 2020. Right after our wedding, we were eager to start a family, so we began researching our options in September. We considered sperm banks, IUI, ICI, and even the possibility of using a known donor. Luckily, a close friend stepped up and offered to be our sperm donor. Initially, we decided to give it a go with me. After a few cycles with no luck and experiencing a miscarriage, I visited the doctor, who diagnosed me with PCOS, making it harder for me to conceive. So in January, we shifted gears and let Alex take the lead in family-building!
We tried for a couple of cycles and then stumbled upon this amazing at-home insemination kit. After using it for just two cycles, we finally got that long-awaited positive test! The kit was so user-friendly and comfortable, and I can’t wait to try it again when my turn comes around. We feel it’s crucial to remember that families can take many forms and that love is what truly matters.
