Hey there! We’re excited to share our journey to baby number two! After welcoming our first little one in March 2021 using at-home insemination and a known donor, we’re thrilled to announce that our second bundle of joy is set to arrive in January 2024!

It took us around six attempts this time, which is a bit more than the two tries we had with our first baby—but honestly, it still feels pretty quick in the grand scheme of things! We went through a couple of unsuccessful IUI attempts, and honestly, the costs were just too much to keep going down that path. That’s when we decided to revisit at-home insemination, and boy, are we glad we did!

A huge thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey to growing our family! For anyone interested in learning more about at-home insemination, there are some great resources out there. We found this detailed article on in vitro fertilisation super helpful too. If you’re considering your own journey, check out Make a Mom for their at-home insemination kit.

In summary, our journey to having a second baby has been filled with ups and downs, but we’re so grateful to be on this path again. We can’t wait to welcome our new addition and continue sharing our story with all of you!
