Meet Dr. Emily Carter – Director of Fertility Preservation
Dr. Carter graduated with honors from the University of Texas and completed her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School. She then pursued her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, where she was honored to serve as Chief Resident. Her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility took place at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she dedicated her clinical research to fertility preservation and the complexities surrounding diminished ovarian reserve.
Her groundbreaking work includes studies on the effects of aging on reproductive health and fertility preservation strategies for patients with underlying medical conditions. Dr. Carter has an impressive portfolio of publications and presentations at national conferences. She’s a proud member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Carter is eager to return to Texas and is particularly passionate about fertility preservation and third-party reproduction.

Meet Dr. James Lin – Medical Director
Dr. Lin comes to us with a wealth of experience, having earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Chicago. His residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology was completed at the University of Michigan, where he consistently received awards for academic excellence. Following this, he completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Mayo Clinic, where he was recognized as the “Outstanding Junior Faculty.”
Dr. Lin focuses on male factor infertility and the challenges associated with advanced reproductive age in women. He is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, with numerous publications to his name. Recently, he was honored as one of the Best Doctors in America. In addition to his role at our clinic, Dr. Lin also serves as an assistant professor at the University of Houston’s OBGYN Department.
Dr. Lin is excited to see new patients at our locations in West Houston and Cypress.
