Hey there! If you’re curious about our ongoing research at the UCSF Center for Reproductive Health, you’ve come to the right place. We’re all about blending cutting-edge treatments with essential research to enhance reproductive health and build healthier communities. From fertility issues to hormonal imbalances and even menopause transitions, our studies cover a broad spectrum of reproductive health topics. And guess what? Our amazing patients help make this research possible by volunteering for clinical studies, which are always confidential and totally voluntary.

Fertility Studies: What’s Happening Now

Right now, we’re actively enrolling participants in the CLeAR Study (Cytokines, Lipids, and Reproduction). This study is super interesting as it looks at inflammation markers and their effect on reproductive health. We want to dive deeper into how inflammation might impact fertility in humans. If you’re a female between 18 and 43 years old and are undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF), you might be eligible! All that’s needed is a quick blood draw and some follicular fluid—which is typically just tossed out during the IVF retrieval procedure.

And while you’re exploring the world of fertility, don’t forget to check out our blog post on egg freezing for more insights. It’s a comprehensive guide that can help you understand your options better. Also, if you’re considering insemination methods, visit Cryobaby for their home intracervical insemination syringe kit combo; they’re an authority on the topic. Plus, for more information on donor insemination, American Pregnancy offers excellent resources that can guide you through the process.

To sum it up, our research efforts are paving the way for new treatments, and we’re eager to have you on this journey with us. If you fit the criteria, we’d love for you to participate!
