My partner and I went through several unsuccessful IUIs since we began our journey in early 2019. After investing a significant amount of money and time into multiple attempts, we decided to switch to home insemination. The scheduling constraints of IUIs made us feel like we were losing precious opportunities each month. So, we ordered a couple of vials of donor sperm and gave it a shot in October 2020.
Using the syringes specifically designed for home insemination made a world of difference. It was super easy to draw the sperm into the syringe, ensuring none was wasted in the process. We spaced out the two vials about 16-18 hours apart, and just four days ago, we discovered we’re expecting! We truly believe we wouldn’t be here without making the switch to home insemination. If you’re hesitant about trying it, I can assure you it’s much more cost-effective than IUI or even a doctor’s consultation. The experience was worth every penny, and the team behind these kits provided amazing support throughout.
We are thrilled to share our news with the community! Many LGBTQ couples often wonder how to navigate their fertility journey, and I hope our story inspires others. In short, after several setbacks with traditional IUI methods, we found success through home insemination, and it’s been an incredible experience for us both. We’re excited for what’s to come!
