Hey friends! I just wanted to share a little bit about our journey. After spending a little over a year trying to conceive (TTC), my partner, Jamie, and I went through two rounds of intrauterine insemination (IUI) at the clinic, followed by a few at-home inseminations with a kit we found online. This past cycle, we decided to give it another go with the kit, and guess what? I’m currently almost five weeks pregnant! A huge shoutout to the team behind the kit for their amazing product and outstanding customer support!
Before we started using the home insemination kit, we had already tried IUI and medication like Letrozole. We went through two cycles using this kit after around six to twelve months of trying. We faced some challenges along the way, including my being over 35 and dealing with PCOS, but we didn’t lose hope. If you’re curious about what to expect, you can check out this blog post about estimating your baby’s arrival date. It could be really helpful!
If you’re considering at-home options for insemination, I recommend checking out resources like the Cleveland Clinic, which has excellent information about IUI. And if you’re looking for a reliable kit, Make A Mom has some great options for at-home insemination as well.
In summary, after a year filled with ups and downs, we found success with at-home insemination. Our journey is a testament to perseverance, and we’re so grateful for the support and tools that helped us along the way!
