Our Story

Founded in 2006 by a dedicated team led by Dr. Emily Clarke, along with lab specialist Jake Foster and clinician Sarah Finn, TFP GCRM Fertility has been a pioneer in the field. During our early days, Dr. Clarke made significant strides in fertility research, discovering that measuring the anti-müllerian hormone (AMH) could help predict ovarian reserve. This groundbreaking work has enabled us to enhance treatment success rates by tailoring our approaches to each patient’s unique needs.

In our first year, we successfully completed 190 IVF cycles. Since then, we’ve celebrated remarkable achievements, including the first-ever conception via IVF using time-lapse technology in 2012 and the birth of our 5,000th baby in October 2024. As part of the TFP Fertility Group, we harness ongoing research and innovation to continually improve your chances of conception.

Location

You can find us conveniently located off junction 25 of the M8, close to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

Fertility Treatments

At TFP GCRM Fertility, we offer a variety of treatments designed to assist you on your journey to parenthood:

  • In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF): Eggs are retrieved and combined with sperm in a lab, allowing embryos to develop before transfer.
  • Intrauterine Insemination (IUI): A less invasive method where healthy sperm is injected directly into the uterus, often recommended for same-sex couples.
  • Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI): A specialized procedure during IVF for those facing male factor infertility, involving the direct injection of sperm into an egg.
  • Pre-implantation Genetic Testing (PGT): This testing identifies genetic abnormalities in embryos, helping to ensure the healthiest embryos are selected for transfer.
  • Egg Freezing: This option allows individuals to preserve their fertility for future use, involving a partial IVF cycle.
  • Donation: For some, the path to parenthood includes donor assistance, and our team provides the necessary guidance throughout this process.
