Our experience with at-home insemination:
Back in April 2017, we decided to take the plunge and try our first round of home insemination using a hospital-grade syringe. We were over the moon when we found out we were pregnant on the first try! But our excitement turned to heartbreak when we learned we had an ectopic pregnancy. After an emergency surgery that resulted in the removal of my right fallopian tube, we were devastated. Our doctor advised us to wait six months before trying again.
