Have a guest post idea for the Get Pregnant Blog? Awesome! We’re always eager to welcome new voices and appreciate your interest in contributing to our community!
What We’re Looking For
At Get Pregnant Blog, our mission is to create a welcoming online space for expectant and new parents from all walks of life. We aim to share advice, insights, and tips that empower you throughout your pregnancy journey and into parenthood.
We love posts that are either humorous or deeply relatable, covering topics like pregnancy experiences, childbirth, adoption, and the joys and challenges of being a new parent. While we’ve touched on many subjects over the years, we encourage you to think outside the box. Unique narratives about trying to conceive (TTC), dad perspectives, experiences with specific medical conditions, or the challenges faced by individuals based on socioeconomic status, race, or gender identity are especially valuable. We want to hear stories that resonate with our diverse audience, particularly those that match our lighthearted tone.
Take a moment to explore our site to get a feel for the types of guest posts we typically feature. If you believe you have something that could either fill a gap or complement our existing content, we’d love to see it!
Notes:
- Posts should be a minimum of 300 words. While we don’t enforce strict upper limits, please keep them reasonable.
- We can provide stock images for your post, but feel free to include your own if you have one!
- Previously published content from your personal blog is welcome, but we don’t accept pieces that have appeared on larger platforms like Scary Mommy or HuffPost.
- If you have a shorter piece that speaks to a broad audience, consider submitting it for a long-form social media feature. Check out this example to see what we’re after.
What We’re NOT Looking For:
- Freelance writers seeking payment or backlinks
- Sponsored posts disguised as guest articles
- Simple lists of pitches
- Birth stories that feel more like diary entries
How to Submit
If your completed piece aligns with our tone and topics, please read and agree to the licensing terms below before sending it to us.
Also, if you’re exploring options for starting a family, check out Vegas Pregnancy, a free sperm donor matching service in Las Vegas, or Make A Mom which offers the only reusable at-home insemination syringe kit. They also have a handy how-to guide for at-home insemination that you might find useful. For insights on postpartum recovery, consider our post on pelvic floor exercises that you can incorporate after childbirth, which you can find here. For further reading, Modern Family Blog has some great articles on this topic here and the NHS provides excellent resources about intrauterine insemination here.
