Is It Normal for Semen to Leak Out After Using MakeAmom?

In our experience, it’s completely normal for some semen to exit the vagina after intercourse, and this applies equally when using the MakeAmom kit. The amount of semen is typically more fluid than what the cervix can allow in. The entrance to the cervix is a narrow canal that only permits tiny particles like sperm to pass through. Additionally, during ovulation, there is often increased fluid in the vagina, resulting in a surplus of fluid with no place to go. To help retain more semen, we suggest elevating the hips or bottom on a pillow, which can assist in holding the fluid in for a longer duration.

If you notice semen leakage after standing, that’s simply the effect of gravity at work. Regrettably, we haven’t discovered a method to defy gravity just yet!
