Jamie’s journey into healthcare wasn’t planned. “I never imagined myself in healthcare while growing up; I actually fell into it back in 2006,” she explains. Starting her career in a plastic surgery office in Indiana, she eventually moved to Florida, taking on various roles, including HR Generalist at a community hospital. It was while managing an ENT practice that she discovered her passion for healthcare management, which solidified her desire to make a difference in the medical field.
After several rewarding years in Florida, Jamie felt a void in her life. “I’ve always dreamed of getting married and having kids, so I decided to return to Indiana,” she reflects. This decision was fueled by her aspiration to start a family as a single mother, which led her to IFI, not just as a career opportunity but as a significant part of her personal journey.
A Personal Connection to IFI
Jamie’s experience as a patient at IFI was pivotal in her decision to pursue the Managing Director role. “IFI was a huge part of my life, and I always wanted to find a way to give back,” she recalls fondly. “The incredible people I met during my time as a patient inspired me, and I knew working here would be just as fulfilling.”
Now, just three months into her role, Jamie is confident that she made the right choice. “You feel the warmth and care as soon as you step through the doors. The doctors genuinely care about their patients and staff, creating a positive atmosphere,” she shares.

Outside of work, Jamie is a loving mother to her son, Max, whom she adopted five years ago. “Life has been a joy ever since. My own adoption experience made me consider it as a path for my family,” she expresses. In her free time, Jamie loves bonding with Max through sports, creative projects, or simply enjoying the great outdoors. “Summers are our favorite! We spend most weekends by the lake,” she shares.
