Meet Dr. Emma Johnson
Dr. Johnson knows firsthand the challenges that come with infertility, having faced her own struggles. Diagnosed with PCOS-related infertility, she and her partner went through IVF to welcome their twins—a boy and a girl. Their second son was born via frozen embryo transfer. This personal experience enables Dr. Johnson to connect deeply with her patients, helping them feel at ease during a challenging time. She believes that knowledge is power and ensures her patients understand the intricacies of their conditions and the most suitable treatments available.
When you step into her office, it’s totally normal to feel nervous or frustrated about the journey ahead. Dr. Johnson has a knack for making her patients comfortable by breaking down the treatment process into manageable steps, even tackling complex issues without overwhelming them. She communicates in a straightforward manner that’s easy to follow, so together you can create a plan that feels right for you.
Dr. Emma Johnson earned her Bachelor of Arts in liberal arts and her Medical Doctorate through an accelerated program at the University of Kansas. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology, followed by a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. During her fellowship, she also obtained a Master of Medical Science in reproductive endocrinology and infertility research from the University of Texas. After finishing her fellowship, Dr. Johnson joined our practice in 2012 as a fertility specialist at the McKinney location.
