Hey there! We’re thrilled to share that we’re kicking off a six-month study to explore the effectiveness of progesterone gel versus tablets for women after in vitro fertilization (IVF). You might know that progesterone is a hormone produced by the ovaries post-ovulation, and it’s crucial for helping embryos implant and thrive during those early weeks of pregnancy. Traditionally, progesterone is delivered through vaginal suppositories, but now we’re looking into a new option called Endometrin, which is an effervescent tablet inserted vaginally for localized absorption.

This study aims to see if this new delivery method can be just as effective as the current FDA-approved options. We’re on the lookout for up to 25 women dealing with infertility to participate. If you’re a non-smoker aged 18 to 42, with two functioning ovaries and a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 34 or less, you might be eligible! Plus, participants who qualify and go through an IVF cycle will receive free medications and reduced fees.
