Upcoming Speaking Engagements in Japan
Excitingly, Dr. Thompson has been invited to speak at the Japan Society for Ova Research (JSOR) on May 17, 2024, in Kobe. The conference, chaired by Professor Yamamoto from Hyogo Medical School, will gather numerous experts in the field.
Additionally, she is set to give a talk at a special event in Tokyo on May 19, 2024, organized specifically for her presentation by Dr. Tanaka from Saitama. Hundreds of IVF doctors are expected to attend this session where Dr. Thompson will discuss “Innovations in Managing Infertility for Patients with Advanced Maternal Age.” In a society where ovum donation and PGD/CCS are not commonly accepted, her insights are sure to broaden the understanding of these critical options for women hoping to start a family.
On May 15, Dr. Thompson will also support Kari Suzuki during an invitational lecture at Hyogo Medical School Graduate Program. With 19 years of collaboration, Kari has assisted countless Japanese couples who traveled to receive treatment at our clinic. Her lecture will cover “Alternative Fertility Care Options Available to Japanese Patients in the United States.”
