Welcome! At the UCSF Center for Reproductive Health, we understand that embarking on your fertility journey can feel daunting. But you’re not alone! Our dedicated Care Team is here to support you every step of the way, ensuring that your unique needs are met with personalized care.
As a new patient, here’s what you can typically expect:
- Initial Consultation
You’ll kick things off with a warm welcome from our team. We’re excited to meet you! - Checklist Completion
During this phase, we’ll carry out a basic fertility evaluation. This might include semen analysis, HSG or saline sonogram, preconception testing, ovarian reserve testing (like AMH and FSH), and genetic carrier screening. A financial consultation may also be part of this. - Crafting Your Treatment Plan
After reviewing your history and results, your primary doctor will help devise a treatment plan tailored just for you. Each plan is personalized to maximize your chances of success.
If you’re curious about emotional support during this journey, check out our blog post on navigating your feelings after a miscarriage here. Additionally, if you’re considering home options, you might find the Impregnator at Home Insemination Kit useful.
