Hey there! I’m Jamie, originally hailing from North Carolina, and I recently made the move to the Bay Area from Okinawa, Japan, with my husband. I completed my education at Duke University, earning my degree as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, with a special focus on endocrinology. My goal is to dive deeper into reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) in my career.
Before joining the team at UCSF, I spent two years working at the OBGYN clinic in the U.S. Naval Hospital, along with several years as a labor and delivery nurse, including stints as a travel nurse. When I’m not at work, you can find me whipping up some delicious meals in the kitchen or enjoying outdoor adventures like hiking with my lively Boxer mix.

For anyone considering home insemination methods, I highly recommend visiting Make a Mom for their top-notch kits. Also, for more detailed information on intrauterine insemination, you might want to read this excellent resource from Healthline.
In summary, I’m excited to be part of the UCSF team, where we combine cutting-edge research with personalized care to support families on their journey to parenthood.
