At our clinic, all births happen at the Alta Bates Campus Birth Center in Berkeley, attended by one of our wonderful midwives. If your delivery requires a c-section, VBAC, or any other intervention, the hospitalist OB GYNs at Alta Bates will step in, working closely with our midwives to ensure you and your baby receive expert care at every stage. The collaboration between our midwives and OB GYNs guarantees that you are supported by a skilled team ready to address any situation. We share protocols and a unified patient record, making the transition from pregnancy to delivery and postpartum care as smooth as possible.
