We’ve been dreaming of expanding our family ever since we got together two years ago. My partner and I each have a biological son, bringing our total to two wonderful boys. To complete our family, we were eager to welcome a new baby together. After seeing some ads about at-home insemination, we decided to dive in and give it a shot.
Using donor sperm, we tried for what felt like an eternity—though it was really just 7 months—before we finally got that thrilling positive test! We were ecstatic! At our 18-week ultrasound, we discovered we were having a little girl, which made the moment even more special. A huge thank you to the team behind this amazing at-home insemination kit for helping us realize our dreams of motherhood once again. We’re so excited to welcome our baby girl this October!
Before we discovered this method, we experimented with various syringes and other techniques. We also tried fertility supplements along the way. Overall, we went through seven cycles, and before starting this journey, we had been trying for over 24 months.
