As my partner and I were exploring our options for starting a family, my sister-in-law offered to be our donor. After much thought, we realized how fortunate we were to have the chance to blend our DNA in our first child. We eagerly accepted her offer! However, conception during the pandemic was a challenge since she lived in California while we were based in New York. Undeterred, we donned our PPE and took three separate trips across the country to make it happen. After three cycles of effort, we finally succeeded! Our families have been incredibly supportive of our journey, and we can’t wait to welcome our little one into the world!
