My partner and I tied the knot in September 2018. She had a 14-year-old son who I now consider my own. We always wanted to grow our family further, and I’ve dreamed of experiencing pregnancy myself. We set out on the hunt for the ideal sperm donor, aiming for someone known rather than relying on the high costs of a sperm bank. That’s when we discovered a specialized method that truly catered to our needs.
Our first chosen donor was two hours away, which worked for us initially, but it ended in heartbreak when I lost the pregnancy at five weeks. Realizing that transporting over such a distance during ovulation wasn’t practical, we searched for a new donor. A high school friend who later became a roommate generously offered to help. After a few cycles of miscalculating my ovulation, we finally hit the jackpot on the fourth try! We’re now eagerly expecting our little one on Christmas Day! 🎅🤶
We’re thrilled with our chosen donor, as we know him well, and he’s excited to take on an “Uncle” role in our child’s life. We feel incredibly blessed and can’t wait to embark on this new adventure together.
