It’s been quite the rollercoaster this past year, but we’re overjoyed to announce that our little family is expanding this August! Baby “L” is on the way, thanks to our efforts at home. After facing the heartache of a miscarriage, I was determined that this wouldn’t be the end of our story, but honestly, the uncertainty was tough. The first trimester felt like an emotional marathon, filled with anxiety about what could go wrong. However, during our 20-week ultrasound today, we caught a glimpse of our sweet babe’s adorable face and those tiny, wiggly limbs! Huge thanks for being part of our journey and helping us turn our dream into reality!
UPDATE:
I wanted to take a moment to fill you in on the latest chapter of this wild ride. On July 26, 2020, exactly one year after our first loss, our rainbow baby “L” graced us with his presence. He decided to make his debut three weeks early, and the doctors were amazed that he arrived safely, considering he had his cord wrapped around his neck four times! I couldn’t help but feel that our angel was there, watching over us. It’s incredible how one of the saddest days transformed into such joy.
So, without further ado, here’s our precious Baby “L”! His moms and big brother are absolutely smitten. He’s truly made with love! A big thank you to everyone who supported us along the way—you helped make our dreams come true!
