After 12 long years of trying to conceive, my journey finally took a turn for the better. I faced numerous fertility treatments, heart-wrenching miscarriages, and several unsuccessful IUI attempts. Diagnosed with PCOS and severe endometriosis, the physical pain became unbearable, and the emotional toll was immense. It was hard to reconcile having a healthy daughter 13 years earlier with my current struggles to give her a sibling. Ultimately, I made the difficult choice to undergo a hysterectomy, which left me feeling empty and overwhelmed by the thought of not being able to expand our family.

During a heartfelt conversation with my sister, she offered to be our surrogate, generously providing her egg and willing to carry a child for us. This was a monumental gift, and while I was hesitant to accept, our close bond made the decision even more meaningful. My mother then suggested we try an at-home insemination kit and gifted it to us. To our amazement, it worked on the very first attempt! We’re now expecting our new addition on November 15, 2021, and our entire family is overjoyed to be part of this journey. This child is truly a miracle and a testament to the love that surrounds us. I cannot wait to share those precious baby photos!
