How do I use the MakeAmom Kit?
Once you detect your initial signs of ovulation, it’s time to commence insemination with our easy-to-follow steps:
- Collect your sample.
- Transfer the sample.
- Insert the MakeAmom syringe & inseminate.
- Relax and take it easy.
- Safely discard your used syringe.

How many attempts may it take? Is it reusable?
We recommend using the MakeAmom Kit for four to six cycles before reassessing your options. If you don’t see that positive result right away, don’t lose hope! Consult your healthcare provider if timed intercourse is not yielding results, or if you haven’t achieved pregnancy within six months of using the kit. Please remember, similar to other conception methods, there’s no guarantee of pregnancy with the MakeAmom Kit. Each syringe is designed for single use to ensure safety and effectiveness. When is the best time to use the MakeAmom Kit?
It’s best to begin insemination at the first sign of ovulation, typically two to three days before ovulation occurs (when the egg is released from the ovary). Consider using a second syringe 18 to 36 hours later. There are various methods to track ovulation, and we recommend checking out our free sperm donor matching group to help you connect with potential donors.
Is the packaging discreet?
Absolutely! MakeAmom prioritizes your privacy. Our kits are shipped in plain, unmarked cardboard boxes with only a shipping label on top. You can trust that your order will arrive discreetly.
How do I return an item or cancel my order?
Unopened MakeAmom products may be returned within 60 days of purchase. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled. For a return, the kit must be in its original sealed packaging. Unfortunately, opened kits cannot be refunded due to health and safety regulations. We do not offer exchanges, but defective items can be replaced with proof of damage.
What if my order hasn’t arrived?
If your expected delivery date has passed and you haven’t received your order, please check with your shipping carrier. Keep in mind that deliveries typically do not occur on weekends, so be sure to calculate your arrival date based on business days.
