Is your child captivated by Frozen? Of course they are! Welcome to the unavoidable stages of a Frozen fascination.
Stage 1
Wow, WHAT A FANTASTIC MOVIE!! The empowered female leads, OLAF (so funny!), the breathtaking ice and snow, the SISTERLY LOVE (sniff), and OH, the MUSIC! It’s just SO AMAZING! Hooray for Disney!
Stage 2
“Let it gooooo, let it goooooo, can’t hold it back anymoooore!” (Sigh) Isn’t Idina Menzel just the best?
Stage 3
“Do you wanna build a snoooowmaaaan? It doesn’t have to be a snooowmaaaan. Okay, byyyyyye.” (Sniff) That scene gets me every time.
Stage 4
Sure, why not kids! Let’s grab the DVD. And the soundtrack too! It’s only like the BEST Disney movie EVER!
Stage 5
Aw, how adorable! The kids know all the lyrics by heart!
Stage 6
Oh, how sweet! They’re singing “Let it Go” non-stop!
Stage 7
Wow. They’re really singing “Let it Go” ALL DAY LONG.
Stage 8
OH MY GOODNESS, THEY’RE SINGING “LET IT GO” ALL. FREAKING. DAY. LONG.
Stage 9
Please, for the love of all that is good, LET IT GO, kids. Seriously. LET IT GO.
Stage 10
Oh, great, now it’s trending on Facebook. I have to hear other people’s kids singing it too? How many times does one song need to play to be considered torture?
Stage 11
Now I’m hearing it in my dreams. Yes, in my dreams. Every single night.
Stage 12
KIDS, IF YOU DON’T STOP SINGING, I’M GOING TO LET YOU GO.
Stage 13
Disney is pure evil and Idina Menzel is the devil’s minion.
Stage 14
What’s that, kiddos? No, I have NO CLUE what happened to the DVD and soundtrack. Maybe they got lost. Perhaps a giant snow creature devoured them. OR MAYBE you wore them out so much they simply ceased to exist.
Stage 15
Yes, I know you’re heartbroken. Yes, I get that you can’t “let it go.” Wow, you’re REALLY that upset? Well… I just have one thing to say: “Let the stoooorm raaaage ooooooooon. The cold never bothered me anyway.”

Summary:
The article humorously outlines the various stages parents experience when their children become obsessed with Disney’s Frozen. It starts with the excitement of the movie’s release, progresses through the endless singing of its songs, and culminates in the parents’ desire for a break from the relentless melodies.
