I like to use “Woot!” as well, even though I’ve never actually said it out loud. It’s an expression of excitement and is always followed by multiple exclamation points. I picture a celebratory high five in my mind when I write it.
Then there’s my internal debate over “Yeah” versus “Yay.” “Yay” conveys support and encouragement, while “Yeah” expresses agreement in a more casual way. You can imagine me nodding along as I type.
If you see “Wah!” it’s me whining a bit, but with humor. When I write “Sob,” it means I’m genuinely upset, not implying anything else. I rarely use LOL because it feels inauthentic—am I really laughing out loud? If I chuckle, it’s a simple “ha!” For a giggle, I’ll use “hehe,” and a genuine laugh gets a “HAHAHA!” If something is sarcastically funny, I might “snort.” LMAO is reserved for rare moments—often after a drink!
